A fucking power surge just tried to destroy my computer, but my beast lives. Haha you fools, you think it's that easy to get rid of me? Well, sadly the poor old thing is just about at the end of it's line and I'm thinking soon I'll have to put together a new mechanical monster.

So just for fun, help me build the most powerful machine ever constructed by man, and for now let's just assume I have a budget of 10 G's to work with. Don't worry about monitors or exactly what type of speakers I'd be using (yet), just give me the hardware that will be going in the box. Go wild, but try to stay within the realm of reality.

so what you want in it is the secret prototype pentium 6 proccesor that Bill Gates has created by secret. Next, you want to geht the best internet connection possible (wireless). then, buy IRC. Afterwards, have sub-woofer stereo's on your machine. someone else elaborate more on what the computer will have.

If you got $10,000 to spend. I suggest you go to www.alienware.com

You could get a righteous rig for $3500 with An AMD fx53 2.2 Ghz 1 MB cache/ 2 gig of ram/ 10,000 rpm 72 Gb Serial ATA running Raid0/ Surround sound w/ 200W powered speakers/ your choice of top-of-the line graphics adapters. All kinds of extra stuff like cooling and case mod options. And you have like 7 colors to choose from.

Then take that other $6500 and bank it, or buy porn.

Buy a Dell, and then throw your money around in front of ladies.

Or, just look for something that's shiny. You might not be able to run shit, but damn... you could haul it around town, and impress all sorts of bitches and hoes.

Ass and titties! Ass and titties!

AAAHHH!

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!

DELL MACHINES USE CRAPPY, CUSTOM PARTS, AND HAVE SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

www.ihatedell.net

Please, read that before you buy a Hell machine. Inside that site are stories of customer supoort's neglegence, defective nightmares, and horrid return stories.

I post there all the time. You will surely regret buying a Dell after you read this.

Ya wanna upgrade that motherboard in your Dell? Plan on buying a new case, power supply, and motherboard. Ditto for everything having to do with the case.

If your power supply goes, simply put, you are screwed, totally, with some models. The Dimension 4400, 8100,4200, and 4300 series have absolutely NO ATX to Dell adapter, whilst some other models do. Dell has been known to stop stocking parts after they are needed for building new systems.

But guess what guys. While writing this post, I came up with a cool way to get the 4400 series models to accept an ATX power supply! YIPEE! Simply cut the corresponding missing cable on the ATX power supply you just bought, and hopefully your system shall boot. That is, if it will still give the power good signal...

Dude, don't wet yourself

I use a dell because it's cheap, simple as that. I don't want to spend the money on a high-end machine (not to mention that even if I did, I don't have the money).

I'm considering getting another job next summer and buying a new computer (and a good one, for a change).

If you really were cheap (Like me), you would have bought an HP, Compaq, Emachines, Gateway, or any other machine with good quality parts and shit support and proceeded to upgrade when you needed to, instead of wasting $400 on a machine that will eventually become a paper weight in a few years.

I am the master of cheap when it comes to my PC. I cut corners just enough so that everything works. A cheaper part here, a better solution there, etc.

If you really want a good PC, build it yourself.

I don't know much of anything about hardware, otherwise I might build my own.

Regardless, I had no part in purchasing this computer... otherwise I would've chosen something less ugly.

The bad shit far outweighs the good with Dell.

Back when they were good, I recommended that my bro get a Dimension 4400. Of course, when the time came, we wanted to upgrade. He wanted a faster CPU, and even though this thing supports a 2.8GHz P4, the P4 cost too much. We couldn't swap out the mobo, either. We were also looking at new video cards, but we then decided to junk it and build a PC that actually could be upgraded. He built a pretty nice high-end rig for the same price he paid for his Dell...Needless to say, he loved the new machine more than he loved the Dell.

Dell=TEH SUX.

First off, we do not market the dimension 4400 or 4600 (as it is now known) as high end upgradeable systems for gaming or for customization. We market them to the variety of family and basic college students who are not going to nit pick over every little detail. Second, if you were that wooried about it, should have done the research first and bought an xps or built your own. Duh.
