Lately, I completely feel like shit, I feel like crying and always down. Maybe somethings missing? Maybe i'm missing my boyfriend too much or all my friends? I always seem to feel depressed. Anyone has any ideas on how to get yourself out of a ditch. Much appreciated. Thanks.

Meh_it_all, there's about a gizillion things that cause general feelings of shittiness. Can you give us a few clues: internal or external factors that may be causing it? Knowing the reason is important in figuring how to unfuck yourself!
In the absence of any further input, my advice is for anyone trying to improve their life is: get a Boston Terrier! These dogs fucking rock! My dog has helped me quit smoking, he helps me debug my software when I can't figure out what's wrong with, he's excellent at turning women into putty in my hands and he allways helps with the dishes. I don't know what your life involves, but I'll bet a Boston Terrier could improve your quality of life 10-fold!

I would usually find something insane to do, like spend the rest of my cash on something I don't need, or go on a ridiculous roadtrip out of the blue. Now the lack of cash is my problem :/

DIZNUTS; I miss him so much because I don't live near him, he lives in England and I just recently moved to Spain (which i hate). I just saw him a few weeks ago for my birthday and we spent 5 days together. It was great. We've been together a year, I guess that's why i miss him, cos i got to spend all that time with him and now hes not here again.

And I guess, A few things to contribute to my hole, is that i'm in a place i hate. I don't have any friends here, I'm permanently in my house. And I have nothing to do except do school work at home. (because I'm home taught) I miss all my friends back in England. And amongst loads of other things..

So get out of the house and MAKE some friends.

It's amazing how much a suck-hole doesn't suck once you get out of a funk. Missing the bf is hard but go out and meet some folks. Yeah it's a new place and stuff but there's still ways to get to know people.

My guess is getting out and living would make a huge difference!

Nothing replaces real friends like made up one. The cure for everything is denial.

Go to the local toy store and buy some stuffed animals, name them all after your friends, and have tea parties every day at a scheduled time. Make sure you buy a tea set big enough to accomedate all of your furry friends. Don't forget that smalltalk is key in any relationship. Ask them: How are you doing this fine day", "Is the shelf clean enough", and the like. If you follow this, you will soon forget that any life outside your room ever existed, and you can live happily ever after in your make-believe world.

If you cannot afford a shit ton of stuffed animals, just get some e-friends, and chat with them. Don't forget that, "At WTF.com, someone is always willing to help, because we don't have the I.Q. to figure out how to leave!"

Get an MMORPG. I've found they're an excellent source of entertaining timesink. World of Warcraft recently came out in Europe. I bet you could get your hands on that. I have good friends that live in Canada, England, Japan, Australia, U.A.E., Sweden, and on the mainland U.S. while I'm in Hawaii. We can group and hunt and raid online together and it takes the edge off the fact that I have no friends on this godforsaken island.

Video games are ALWAYS good (except when they interfere with college). That's a great suggestion P. Terra. If you have an XBox, you can't go wrong with Halo & Halo2. I still think you need a kanine friend! Dogs + Humans are perfect symbiots. Just look at my dog:

I take him everywhere with me. He helps me accomplish everything I need to do.

it sux when you are depressed all the time and there is nothing you can do. Go out w/ your friends and family, THAT IS WHY GOD GAVE THEM TO US!!!! For real. Whenver I am sad thats what I do.

OR

You can turn to drugs. I had the worst year of my life last year (2004) I started smokin up 4 and 5 times a week in 05 and every day has been the best ever. I am doing more now than ever and am so much more productive, thus making me happier. See thats why Dave Chappel said it best "HEY HEY HEY, SMOKE WEED EVERY DAY!!!" AMEN!!!! Thats my life's moto for this year!!!!
