When I was trying to read the second page of a thread in the issues forum, I kept getting this message.

"Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
File: /home/whatthe/public_html/forums/includes/class_core.php
Line: 2903"

It seems the only thread I'm having problems with this is in the "woman kicked off airplane" thread in The Issues.

Is it still happening for you? If so, what browser, color theme, and messages per page are you using?

I tried it out and it works for me now...

CompuServe brower, and I haven't changed any of the settings for WTF, so I'm still using Blue Hell and all that.

Like I said, it's just the one thread, so I don't really care, but I figured I'd better give a heads up in case this could be something worse.

Odd..

As you can see, you see: http://http:// which will not be able to work.

That redirects to www.microsoft.com somehow (though not entirely sure why). When you view it with a single http:// it will work correctly. All the links inside of the thread (void's original one with the url, and the 2 times it was quoted ALL see to load fine for me?)

I have been getting the same error a lot too... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I am using Blue Hell, 15 posts per page, FireFox, windows XP.

Umm, when was the last time you got this message? This was connected to a hack add-on that has since been disabled?

It *should* be fixed for the last 24 hours (yesterday morning)

Also wanted to make note that one should make sure you clear your caches and do force-reloads [CTRL-F5] to ensure you're browsing with the latest & greatest of the site.

It hasn't happened today, if it does I will let you know but it seems to be all clear now.

i think this may be stemming from my posts and only my posts..
it has happened twice when i posted with links renamed as 'clickity' or something similar.. posting those posts took me to the error message quoted above, and subsequent tries at reading the post gave the same message until BRiT/Jason rectified the situation.
I do regularly (since upgrades) do the F5..
i'm only in blue hell overdrive if that has any bearing..
i rename the links using the 'insert link' icon at the top of the composition page.

So this is *not* still going on? Or?

The WYSIWYG interface will always be a little flakey depending on how someone still formats stuff so make sure before you submit the post that the format looks okay. :)

Plain URLS do not require you to use the URL tag. However, you will need to use the URL tag if you wish to do a "Click here!" link that goes where you want of course.

Just be careful, and never press the red button!

That's because you have two occurances of http:// in it.

So far to date, 100% of those with the error have improper links! :D

so to use 'insert link' i need to delete the http:// either in the address or in the box provided..

test..

EDIT: good, thanks a lot.. i didn't see that double http happening..

Yep. :)

...and when you use the link button, it auto-highlights the NAME portion of the link so you can do the "click me" by just immediately typing instead of having to go back inside the link like it used to be...
