Man, i just got a new webhost and out of the week ive been there, they've had 'server issues' (hacked) about 4 days. Does anyone know of a good webhost that offers DBs, php, and MySQL? i really need a new one.

www.dreamhost.com - 2.4GB sotrage/120GB transfer, unlimited databases, 600 inboxes, 3 domains, a streaming server, a jabber server, and full shell access.

SSH is one of the main things I look for now a days. No need to dick with CPanel, and you can install and run whatever you want fairly easy.

Failing that, www.1and1.com comes highly recommended as well, although I have no experience with them personally.

prohosting.com has some good stuff... i used to run a site off of them for a long time... only a lack of being home regularly stopped up that site... that and lack of income... either way... they are good and offer all those things, but judge content. no porn or objectional material...
