You know the old 3D Neomagic chips from the late 90's?
They support 3D. I've used hacks and gotten it to work in a few games, such as Forsaken ad Half-Life.
However, no matter what you do, in DxDiag there is no 3D acceleration available. Most games will not detect the chip, and if you manually enable D3D the game will not load.
I can provide you with a driver build if you need one. I desperately need 3D working on my laptop.
My graphics chip is the NeoMagic MagicGraph 256AV.
