Here I was, in French 12 class. I was an avid gum chewer back then. And, of course, gum chewing was frowned upon in that shithole school.
Well, the teacher caught me. And asked if I was chewing gum. At first I was tempted to say "Thanks for asking such an obvious question, bitch." Then I decided to come up with "Umm... it's prescription gum."
So she asks me to explain that one after class. Which I do. So I say "Umm... you know that stop smoking gum... nocorette or something. It's that."
So she goes on about how sorry she is blah blah blah how she hopes it works out for me.
2 weeks later she comes up to me, and says "I talked with the principle. Apparently you need to get a parent or guardian to sign if you're on any prescriptions blah blah blah."
All the gum around now goes with the same things "Actually whitens teeth!" or "Fresh, no matter what" I miss the days when gum was a 75pct sugar concoction that you could get cavities from in a day..good times.
