Good action movies

Hi I was wondering if anyone could recommend me any good action movie(s) (with good scenarios)

Maybe I should define my taste for a "good movie" first.. let's see..
Fight club, snatch, lock stock and two smoking barrels, reservoir dogs, kill bill 1-2, pulp fiction, the matrix, 12 monkeys, blow, City of God, memento, fear and loathing in las vegas (wich isn't really "action" but it's fuckin great)...huuhh yeah im forgetting a couple but you get the type, just no jackie chans or crap like that..I'm out of ideas

Did anyone see casino? I heard it's really good.

Well fuck. I know you said no Jackie Chans...but the remake of Legend of Drunken Master is badass, and a little funny, especially due to the dubbing.


Face-Off is decent action flick. Maybe it's just cool because they switched places, but it is in no way compared to Kill Bill-style action.

Hmmm...hard-core action....that ends up good with-out being cheesy....is hard to find. I'll fill you in on more once they come to mind.



The Crow is decent too.

see, i feel like plot isn't that important in an action movie. i just love to watch fighting and explosions. i'll get my plot fix from a different movie

what about stuff along the lines of true lies or air force one?

True lies....very good. Eraser was good. Executive decision was alright. It was nice to watch fatass steven segal die in the beginning.

Um...what about "Mean Machine" ? It's in the same type as "Snatch", or "Lock stock..." - anyway, Jason Statham, and Vinnie Jones (Turkish and Bullet Tooth Tony) are in this film as well. Lots of laugh.
Or the "Pirates of the Carribean : The Curse of the Black Pearl" - very nice film, though the title could've been shorter.

I would suggest Saving Private Ryan, but everyone alredy saw it, so, Behind Enemy Lines.

I liked the D-day part on saving private Ryan...HAve you seen Enemy at the gates??? Great WWII Sniper movie :thumbsup:

Enemy at the Gates was fucking fantastic.



All you halo 2 snipers probably worship that shit. It's not a bad thing though.
