Guys here is my problem. I am not allowed to acess my control pannel, systems tools or internet options from my IE Browser.

I have ran, a virus checker, a spyware checker, the hijack this prog, scan disk, defrag, disk clean up and even went into safe mode to try to fix this problem.

What happens is I got to start and go to open up my control pannel, it starts thinkings then freeze the computer for the moment flickers black and never opens.

ANY IDEAS AT ALL.........

I had a user with the same symptoms. It wouldn't let me access Adaware either. My thought is some type of malware.

What version of windows do you have?

Hmmm...If I had a problem like that and I could not solve it and if I do not want to wipe my hard drive and loose everthing, I would just go under start menu, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore and restore you computer up to the last point or date that it was working fine. That would solve all problems I have or had that couldn't be fixed.

Cool, I'll look at the log later when I get a chance. Your processes looked ok though.

In the meantime, you can try a few things:
  • If you haven't scanned with both Adaware and SpyBot, then do so.
  • You can try running CWS Shredder.
  • Also try the Trend Micro 'House Call'.
  • You can read a lot of mal ware related info here. There's a lot of info about removal techniques and such.

Last, and you may not want to hear this, but STOP using Internet Explorer. It's the cause of 98% of mal ware infestations.

Check out Firefox, or Opera for more secure browsers.

I don't see anything out of the norm in that log. Kit have you tried creating another profile user profile? If not go into users and create another user with administrative rights. log in as that user. Then see if IE works for that user.
