Have you ever went to a heavy metal concert, and you stand up.
When the band plays hardcore the crowd goes crazy.
Then the crowd starts to form a mosh pit.
The moshpit was crazy, everyone started to ram each other.
I wanted to go in, put I knew I would get crippled on the floor. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

First real moshpit: I was 17 at an Ozzie Ozborne Concert at the Paladium in hollywood.

Last moshpit(I hope): I was 22 at Lollapalooza at Irvine meadows during Metalica's set.

YES AND IT HURT jeeze it hurt but it was soo much fun

My first pit was probably at a Butthole Surfers show in '93. Actually no, it might have been Seeing Ministry at Lollapalooza '92. Ministry's pit stretched as far as the eye could see. The Most memorable one would probably be Nirvana in Nov, '93. I was sick as a dog that night and couldn't feel much because of the cold medicine, but that worked out pretty well in the pit.

i went into once.... it was a fun at the time, probably 4 years ago. Nowadays, i think i am all set.

i went to a concert where my friend was playing hardcore and a moshpit started and i ended up with a black eye and everyone got kicked out..

It was AWESOME!!! hehe

I have been to quite a few rock/punk clubs in clevelnad, been to my share of concerts .... did quite a bit of moshing back in the day. It was never the bloody mass of anger the media makes it out to be. The biggest challenge is just staying on your feet, and if you fall, your fellow moshers usually go out of their way to get you back up. Fucking media blowing things out of proportion again.

It was back in '95, Rotterdam Metropolis Festival. The band: Millencolins no one liked the band, people were complaining they only played fast songs that sounded just the same as the next one.


I was only 15 years old, bashing and beating, it was great!

I was young. Fast paced punkrock/hardcore/whatever provided me an positive outlet. Maybe strange for you, but worked fine for me.

The high you already have off the show and/or whatever drugs your on, mixed in with the high you get from pushing your body to the limit.
I hate when I go to shows and people just stand there and nod their fucking heads. Get into it you dirty bastards!

Projeckt Revolution

In the summer time of 2004' I went to Projeckt Revolution tour.
The first band that played was No Warning!.
They were sick man. They did a awsome job.
After the very first song everyone started to get pumped up.
I saw everyone starting it, it was a kid running in a circle.
I wanted to go in it but the concert was to crowded.
I could of pushed the people and got in, I missed my chance.
This one big boned guy kept faling down.. LOL
Linkin Park was there, Korn... The Used "I love that song Box full of sharp objects.
And it was weird Snoop Dogg was there?
I dont know why Snoop dogg was there if it was a rock concert.
But Snoop Doggs cool, hes ight.
Any way I had a great time there, that concert really kicked ass

I never saw them together, but I went to summer sanitarium and it was INSANE!
Then I saw koRn in (get this) a parking lot of a hockey arena, that was twice as nuts especially considering I was at the front in the centre (Nearly died)
And YES that's my idea of a good time.

Crowd surfing rawks my sawks as well. Is there an easier way to get to the front?
So what if you end up being dropped on your head every so often
