BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A headless corpse dressed in an orange jumpsuit has been found by Iraqi police in the Tigris River and handed over to U.S. forces, but it has not yet been identified, a U.S. military spokeswoman said Thursday.
She said it was not known whether the body was that of a Bulgarian hostage killed by his captors earlier this week. A deadline for the threatened execution of a second Bulgarian hostage passed last night without news.

The body was found near Baiji, 112 miles north of Baghdad, Wednesday night.

"The body had been decapitated. It was dressed in an orange jumpsuit," the spokeswoman said.

Aren't you looking forward to the day when this isn't a weekly headline?

You should get used to it. The US plans on being in Iraq long term. It is the stated long term objective to base the military out of Iraq once the "conflict" is over.

GWB plans on being in Iraq long term, not America.

I don't think he does, regardless of what he says. He has to get most of the troops out before the election, or he's screwed...

Who cares anyway!?

There is money to be made from the oil bussiness.
Who cares about some dead corpses?
That's just part of the deal.
Blood for oil. It is that easy.

The Dutch also had colonies, and we kicked some ass.
Then the world told us, we were naughty boys, and so we had to retreat out of Indonesia because the good ol' US of A wanted us to.
Now that the Yankees are using the same policy as we did back then, now we Dutch sit back ginning and watch the heads rolling over the deck.

We told you so... :D

The Fuzzie Wuzzies don't collect ears of the dead like in Nam.
They are head fetishists... :cbone:

You're right!

The US Army will retreat in safe area's. Huge camps. With a potential to control the Middle East. Americans will leave the streets.
The idea is not new. Look at Guantanamo Bay. A base on a hostile Island.

Dubya will bring this news out and save the day.
Americans will love him for that, just before election day.

;)

It has nothing to do with the current conflict. Bush has made his plans clear, he intends on moving the vast majority of troops based overseas to a new countries, a reshuffling of assets. He is going to pull them out of Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Germany to position them in the bases he plans on building in Iraq.

Red,

Your generalizations about all "Americans" just shows your ignorance. Maybe you've watched too many American movies.

Be tough to watch the Dutch ones, eh?

Don't think it was sarcasm, or something that could be read "two" ways. Most of your posts are full of hate for Americans, you always approach with a big stick.

It would be nice if you had a sense of humor, work on that.
