Truth: I've met maybe 2 decent people that drive a BMW out of several that I've been around, due to my ex being a BMW enthusiast. He unfortunately isn't counted in the two decent people.

The statistics don't look good, but I usually withold judgment until I've met the person, or until they're an idiot in a parking lot or on the road. Or with me in the car.

A lot of BMW drivers are not really rich. They just want to look rich, so they spend all of their disposable income leasing a BMW.
