"why does the Bush administration seem unconcerned about an exit strategy from Iraq once Saddam is toppled? Because we won't be leaving. Having conquered Iraq, the United States will create permanent military bases in that country from which to dominate the Middle East."

I bet anyone, anything that this statement is true, in 4 years there will still be military occupation in iraq and huge defense spendings... I knowit! haaaaar!! maybe it's the time to mark history with.. A CIVIL WAR :bomb: :bomb: :gun: :sword: :sword:

since peace never work in a democracy.. ffs. it's true.. what good is democracy if the people elect an idiot?

A plan is a plan, is a plan...

Don't be fooled so easily,
Iraq & Afghanistan are going to be nothing but puppet regimes....*forever*
as a protectorate of the good ole' USA. Where yes, we will attempt to use our "influence" in Asia & the Middle East.

But hey, it beats the shit out of having Germany, France & Russia controlling the World's 3rd largest oil reserve...dun it!

-What a fucked up world we will inherit.

its funny you mention this.. I heard a Democratic pundint, that was angry about the outcome, on TV today say something to the effect of "Slavery is over.. we should give the South their independance back"...

If you don't appreciate the Democracy thing, go live somewhere else! It IS your right to do so. DO US ALL A FAVOR! You don't have to agree with it. You don't even have to like it. But you really should take a look around at all of the things that you have and yet you take them for granted! QUIT CRYING ALREADY! :mfinger:

yet slander... libel and sedition aren't...
Hmmm, let's see.

Bush said Iraq had WMD's, but they didn't so I guess that covers slander and libel, and he certainly has incited a rebellion against the authority of a state. He's guilty on all counts. Thanks for pointing that out!

The french were for a peaceful solution, and the use of the force ONLY if Saddam would reject the solutions given by the UN and the inspectors

OH NO! You called me a sheep! ARRRRGGGHHH!! what shall I do? My sisters are not inbred but they are for the most part republican in their views. A person that votes according to who runs for what party is a sheep. I voted based on comparative beliefs.

Before you ask me if i wanna go further, perhaps you should ask yourself.....do you?

If you let one man be your downfall then you are a weak minded person.

You dont appreciate democracy, you're living under a Democratic Republic, in which we elect people who make decisions for us....I WOULD appreciate a democracy...hell, I'd even appreciate an un-tainted Democratic Republic, but I guess you cant have your cake and eat it too....If you dont even know what sort of government you live under...I'm not talking to you!!! Its not that difficult a concept! (sort of like 8th grade govt class...genius)

Say it ain't so!

Do you really believe we live in a democracy? Like as in what sense? Is being seemingly more so, so?
We're more of a Socialist Capitalistic kind of a country, not really a pure democracy.
