He's right about the poem being anything you want it to be. If you can make it flow, it's a poem.

And isn't there a strict rule against flaming in this forum? Tsk tsk.

I don't like this poem, because actual words should be used in creative writing. U and R aren't words; using them only shows laziness and uncreativeness on the part of the author. Please take the extra time needed to type out the two or three extra characters. If you write intelligently, people will respect what you say a lot more.

I'll include this macro to try and make a humorous situation out of this.

Its not a flame in my eyes. As he is stating why he disliked the poem.

You are right a poem can be anything. However, the question should be what makes a good poem. Though I do like the simple structure of this poetry.

this poem could be so much better if it was read by William Shatner sitting on a stool in a dark, smokefilled room.

...and I keep falling in love with you.

You do
I die
You say
I sigh
You break
I take
You call
I fall
You need
I bleed
You lust
I trust
and keep falling in love with the games you play.

Verbs can make a poem, can you fill in the blanks ? Few words can tell long stories.
