Last night my Grammy came up with her little rat dog. And I ended up on the sofa as usual, not a big, but my dog is in lust with hers. So when she goes up to my room, he cries all night long and keeps everyone up. I actually was able to sleep pretty well, all except for my sister asking me every 2 min how I could sleep with all the noise and with the really really bad thunderstorm outside. Well, and at about 1 am my brother was banging on the dogs cage to get him to shut up and we were yelling at each other and he was swearing up a storm at me. I told him that I had to go to work at 7:30 am and he had better shut up and go to bed already. It worked anyway. So I get up with like 10 before I have to leave for work, which isn't a problem cuz i just wear a t-shirt and grubby jeans to work, so I got my stuff on and was ready to go, but I ate some cerial first. By the time I left I was 5 min. late from when I usually would have left, so it's still raining cats and dogs and I'm booking it down the road. I get to the highway and I have to stop and wait for a super long train. Well, once I get onto the highway, a van whips into the righthand turn lane and I'm all like, wtf. I have to slam on my breaks and swerve to keep from hitting some guy waiting to make a left hand turn. But then I get to work and I'm sent out to Wal Mart to get 10 loaves of "good wheat bread". WTF do they mean, "good wheat bread"??? Give me some guidelines. Do you KNOW how many kinds of wheat bread there are out there? A LOT! Anyway, I get the bread and it was 2 for $4. Well, I get up there and they ring up at $2.58 a loaf. I only have a $20 and I left my wallet at work, so I had to have her take off three loaves. Now the kicker is that they had just sent someone to Wal Mart and he had just gotten back as I was walking out to leave. Grrrr. So, later, I'm doing the dishes and we just get pumulted. And the cooks are sending me over every 2 min. to get them new plates. Well, one of those runs I was carrying a huge stack of dinner platters and oops. I droped em. All but 2 broke. Haha. I felt so bad. But everyone was like, are u okay? Well, around 1:30 my dm gave me a bunch of ac filters to run through, "when u have a moment". So of course, at 3 I'm just starting to get caught up and he comes over, takes the sprayer from me and starts to wash them himself. AHHHH! Well, I was like, i'm so tired. I wish I could just go home and go to bed. And he was like, me too. I said, but I was supposed to be out of here at 3. (It was after 3) He just said, well, we got hit really hard today. DUH! Like I don't already know that. So I while he's taken over my area, I go to get a brownie cuz I still haven't had anything since like 7:30 this morning, and this bitchy gal goes, Brittany... What EXACTLY are u doing? I told her I was getting a brownie and she went off on me. AHHHH! SHUT UP BITCH! I went out and paid for it, even though I didn't have to, just so that she couldn't bitch at me for that later. Well, then I smash my thumb between two racks and it cracks open, but I still sit there and wash with a bandaid and a "finger condom" on. (It's like the finger from a latex glove, only its fitted at one end to stay on and keep water out of cuts and stuff. It looks like a minnie condom though.) So now it's like 4:00, I'm crying, I'm soaked, I'm hungry and tired and Don, the dm comes up and puts his arms on my shoulders and it telling me what a great job I did and I won't turn around and I refuse to look at him. He told everyone that I was tired and that I needed to go home. I wouldn't let him buy me lunch or give me a free pie cuz I was just pissed and upset and I wanted to get out of there but there were still a ton of dishes to do. And the place had been empty for about an hour. So, they have Jessie, a busser that I've worked with for a long time who I totally think is a sweetheart, but just don't have the guts to tell him so, come back and help me out. Then Linda, a server who was working the register this afternoon came back and told me that I could go if I wanted, but I said that I couldn't leave all these dishes, she told me to just go because they could take care of it and Jessie had already agreed to stay until the night disher came in. So I got to go. I went to Mc Donalds for supper cuz I didn't wanna stay and eat at work, and my change fell into the save the world thing under the window. Grrr. Just my luck. Ahh. That was my WONDERFUL day up until now when I was able to rant about it. ALthough, my Grammy gave me a big hug after she heard the story and I felt better. Leave it to a Grandma to make things better. Anyway, that's my Hellish day. So just remember this when ur at work and u think u have it the hardest in the world. (Damn Meghan for saying "Well, if ur day was that bad so far it can only get better." Grrr. Sorry. Anyway, Thanks for reading the whole thing if u did, if u didn't, oh well. It made me feel a whole lot better to post it.

I feel for you. Its hard having issues at home and having some gay fellow employees at work or a gay boss(you never said who sent you out for bread). I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

And I hope this makes you feel better :hug2:

P.S. When your brother starts acting up again you can always :bonk: .

Just tough it out or find a new job. Their will always be something else for you. As far as home goes, just keep trucking. Your family will change as time goes on. At least, mine has.

Hahahaha. I don't think that love is overrated. I like to know that I'm not hated. It keeps me from killing myself. I have a lot of issues. But I love love.
