HELL yeah common women can be horrible sometimes then turn right around and say that the guy is being sexist. Its a horrible double standard now adays. Sure there are a lot of guys that are sexist i will admit that but there are just as many women that way. Maybe not to a huge extent but even in just simple comments that are derogitory.

are you kidding me? women are sometimes worse than men are. probably due to all of those "stay in the home, it's your place" comments back during the 20's. but yeah, guys are bad, but girls can be worse, at times.

i can see why you would ask this philosophically nymph, when women are sexist or chauvenistic men really don't get offended-they still know they rule the world regardless. if one day women ruled the world then yes, they'd feel the burn.

From my experience, women are not sexist. From my experience, they hate everyone. :/

Can a woman be sexist?

I rest my case. You accuse us of being sexist, then turn around and do the same thing right back at us. This also proves my general hypocrisy point. Tell me there's no irony in accusing us of being sexist, then calling all men as a whole pigs?

Well, in all honesty, you didn't really need to go off and find a thread where she said something sexist.

This thread itself is sexist.

"Can women be sexist, too?"
What? So women are all of a sudden superior and do not have to bow down to all of the personality errors that men face?

Hmm...just a thought...

True, but I thought I needed to go out and find a more obvious bit of sexism. They might not catch the sexism in this very thread.

I kid, I kid, even if I'm not the one who is worried about seeming sexist. I am, admittedly, misogynistic.

Ok, knowing that you were partially wrong, here's the Webster def, not one off of an E-dictionary.

Webster's Dictionary said:
chauvinist-n.- One who believes in excessively and often belligerently in the superiority of his own country, race, sex, etc.: a male chauvinist.

Shit, it's like you came along and slapped all their peepee's with a wooden spoon. Did you go peepee slapping Nymph?

To answer the actual question... of course women can be sexist. Simply making a derogatory comment about either sex counts. So unless there is some hard wiring in the female brain that allows them to only speak fairly, honestly and without regard to gender then yes, women can be sexist.

It's like asking if black people can be racist.
