well it's definitely going to change your life, but depending on where you are in life and how you handle this new circumstance, it shouldn't ruin it...

but good for you not getting an abortion

Using protection is a good idea but in this case is a little too late.......As far as having a kid at 19 back when my parents (long ago) were young, people had kids at 18, 19 years of age......I had my first (which turned out to be twins DOH!!) at 23 and that was tough but it is do-able. You will be just fine with or without the dad in the picture.... Its a tough adjustment but kids are absolutely beautiful and they change your life in everyway possible for the best.....Good luck with everything and if ya need any advice on how to get through the first few weeks, PM me and I'll give ya all my do's and dont's..... :)

ya, i'd say it's really not that bad to have kids at that age. at least you're not under 18 and the father isn't ignoring your or the child's existance. give the guy respect for stickin with ya anyway. i can't blame him for wanting you to get an abortion, though i don't think he should be pushing you to do it.
it's very strong of you to want to have this kid even at 19.. which i don't think is that bad of an age to have a kid personally. as long as you're not thinking you can still go out and party and all that shiz still.. cuz that won't happen for a few years! lol.
i'm not really speaking from personal experience, in fact it's better to take advice from someone who has... but i know a couple people who have had a kid at around your age, and they're actually very happy about it. as long as you know you're ready for the little brat, all will be well. most women can't wait to be a mother anyway.. it's their instinct really.

The only person that can make that decision is you.. I became pregnat at 16 and I would not change my life or my children for anybody or the world. Yes, it was hard, fuck it, life is hard. You can still go to college, I am raising 5 children and finishing up my bs in business. You can love this child and keep it for your own, and NOBODY can take that from you, not even death.

Being a parent is more than being pregnant and giving birth. It is a realization that you no longer live for yourself, but for another being, whole and complete.

This will certainly change your life. The decision is yours alone to make. If you decide to keep the child it will require a lot more work and patience than you are probably accustomed to putting forth. Children are worth the effort; they are the future. Parenting is what you make of it, for good or ill. Good luck.

You say you live in Cali and he lives in Florida? You said that he is going to move out there with you. Ok...why does he live so far away from youl the begin with...If you don't mind me asking. I mean how do you know he is bluffing about comming out there with you to be with you and your soon to be kid if he wants you to have an abortion?
