The flow may seem a bit off when you read this. However, when spoken as it was written to be, it flows nicely. Not meant to rhyme at certain parts. Has a bit of an ironic tone to it. This is a multi-part poem. Part one merely serves as an opening to the rest.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unforeseen power: Part one

I roam, I wander, I scour
Combing through the land
Hunting everlasting power

Power that can be not explained to a mere mortal man

The type that when it hits you
you can hardly stand
The type that more realistically kicks you
Until you’re a completely different man

If you don’t know of the power I speak,
then that power you shall never reach
Cause I’m talking: That change your life in one hour,
change your view in one instance, remake your destiny in one moment type of power

I’d jump off the highest tower,
just to witness such a power
To view it’s pure strength
I would travel any length

It is my dream
It is my passion
It is all I ever wanted
All I’ve ever needed
And all I shall never know

I will never find this power
Because I myself am only human, just a mere mortal man
That is my downfall, you see as simply a man,
I could never understand
The depths of this type of power

The way it consumes you
The way it overtakes your very being
It’s like you’re different but you're still you
It’s like you’re viewing but not really seeing

It’s confusion
It’s allusion
It’s everything
And yet it’s nothing

So, as I roam, as I wander, as I scour
As I comb through this land
Hunting this everlasting power

I cower…………………………

Unforeseen power: Part two

Fearful with ever breath
Like a hand around my neck

This fear chokes me
Squeezing harder, attached to my throat
Like leaves to an oak tree
Harder, and harder, it won’t stop
Losing air, and I can’t breathe
Tears swelling up in my eyes
and I can’t see
Looking myself in the mirror
And this is not me!

I want this so bad, I need it
I will not give into my fear, nor feed it

So, I pull myself together and continue my search
Once again, perpetuating the cycle of this curse

See, even though it hurts
knowing I may not find what I seek
I know the only thing worse
Is feeling powerless, feeling weak

So, fuck my fear, I will carry on
This isn’t about want, it’s about need
Not what I need, but rather what she

Once again

I roam, I wander, I scour
Combing through this land
Hunting everlasting power

The power to fulfill the needs of a flower

Unforeseen Power: Part three

You see, I want to give her what see deserves

If I could put a smile on her face,
Every second of everyday, of every week
If I could give her happiness to lift her off her feet
So she could sore through the air, as if she had wings
If I could find a way to make her heart sing
A ballad so perfect it bleeds harmony’s glee

Then that fulfills my dream
Satisfies my passion
It's all I need
All I want
It's the only power I seek

Cause right now she knows happiness
But she deserves a life greater than any to ever exist
A life of pure bliss, 24/7, never knowing sadness

A life as perfect as she
Beautiful, and free.
I do not have this ability
But I continue searching wishfully

Always,

I roam, I wander, I scour
Combing through this land
Hunting everlasting power

A power never seen
A power never known
A power i'll never reach
A power i'll never be shown

At first I thought you meant self enlightenment, but then I realized you wanted the impossible: to know what will make a woman happy. Sadly, your poem is 100% accurate.
I can't quite grasp the speaking rythm, is it that fast?
And also, if you haven't tried it yet, either go to a lyric cafe or poetry slam. This poem has potential.

Thank you.

Yes, at parts it is very fast. It sort of ranges from line to line, depending on the underlined point.

Also, yes, we do have a local poetry lounge. I go there often, sometimes to speak, and sometimes to listen, but mostly to relax.
