there's a difference between people for peace, and then people who want peace and are in an anarchist group or radicalists (sp) and these are usually the people who do things like that

So check it out, I don't know where you are from but these people seem to be stupid in the way they want to get things done. When you want the terrorists to stop, it doesn't seem logical to run through the streets and become one yourself. These are also the people who don't really know what is going on in the world and refuse to let anyone change there mind about anything. These are the ignorant chumps we'll have to live with for the rest of our lives, and any redemption we'll ever get is to watch them when they lose or to wait till they are older and more wiser and realize they were wrong (this might never occur) or till the die.
It's frustrating isn't it.

if you meat terror with true naked force and violence, it sends a message. too many asshole liberals would rather pacify bin laden rather than fight for this country. liberals don't seem to get it.

Where do you get this liberals don't get it thing? I have not heard that liberals want to pardon Bin Laden? It was a conservative (Bush) that let his family go and did business with him. It is Bush and the Bin Ladens that are profiting from this war. The term liberal means that you are more accepting of others in society. It doesn't mean you are more accepting of terrorists who blow your country up. I doubt that the people you are talking about are liberals. Liberals don't support the war in Iraq and they sure as hell don't tip over the cars of those who don't believe in it either.

Liberals are totally irrelevant to your arguement. Bush and his businesses and Cheney and Halliburton and the Bin Ladens and their partnership with Bush are profiting from the war. It's all about oil, I don't know where you have been for the last year, but you're obviously missing something here.

Shep, before each post you should repeat to yourself 3 times, "I shall not resort to stupidity while posting." This rules out any posting of your thoughts.
And MaxPower, I really like your posts, so I'm not going to argue with you.

I have to agree with shep75. I support the war on terrosim because thats what my president has chosen to do. Whether I like Bush or not it's irrelevent because he represents America and to turn your back on him is turing your back on America and thats treason. I respect people who may not like the war on terrorism though, I guess it's their right to believe what they want. But it's also my right and others to support the war, that support our president, that supports America. And there's my stand.

That is one of the biggest loads of crap I’ve ever heard. The war in Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism. That has been proven already by investigators (half were republicans).

As far as your comment about "turn your back on him (the president) is turning your back on America and that’s treason." Can not be further from the truth.

It is precisely because we are Americans that we have a right to denounce the actions of our government officials.

OK, lets say hypothetically Bush decides he's going to take half of everyone’s paycheck, and tax the internet. What would you do? I guarantee your view would be different.

So before you use language as strong as treason, you better do some homework and know WTF you're talking about.

Oh believe me, I have done my homework and believe me I do know what I'm talking about. Obviously you still haven't seen my side of the argument. What I'm trying to say is that when you bad mouth Bush it's like badmouthing the rest of America because he CURRENTLY IS the president and whether any one person likes it or not he does represent America. Having a war in Iraq is nothing that deserves impeachment unlike "taking half of everyone’s paycheck, and taxing the internet" which would in that case he probably would need to be removed because that would absolutly be directly affecting us and then we all I think would be in deep trouble. Maybe I should not have said any word as strong "treason" but this is how I feel and I'm not sure if I'm still getting my point accross but I would appriciate it Maxpower if you could respect my opinion on the matter as I do yours.

What you are describing yotaka, and no offense here, is blind leading the blind. The president does directly affect us, even if it's not as obvious as taxing the internet, it's pretty damn obvious. I wouldn't choose to be blind to what the president or any powerhead is doing, because it may not always be the right thing. And if you choose to abide by all the rules you are given, your society would be stagnant, and it would never improve, leaving someone as powerful as the president or even mayor, perhaps to walk all over you.

Yes Yes Yes I see what your trying to say Pachyderm but obviously my point is not getting accross to you people. Aw well, I guess that's why I don't get involved in politics (not that I activly can mind you, I'm under 18). But whatever, arguing my point has become, well, pointless. Maybe someday you people will understand what I mean. I resign from ever posting about politics on wtf.com ever again peeps. Not that you all give a fuck, but wtvr. Thanks for all of your opinions. Peace out
